PBA Power Ranking: Who is the best MPBL Transferee?

Believe it or not but MPBL has managed to lure not one, not two but more  than three players from the oldest professional basketball league in Asia!

It just shows that the current financial offering in MPBL is close to what is being given in the PBA. That means MPBL is gaining grounds to be a legit competitor of the PBA!

In our count, there are four players already who decided to leave the PBA for another league in the country. So, let us rank them!

5. Mark Acuno
We really did not see enough of him in the PBA to give an assessment of his trade value. Nevertheless, finding a 6'7 is still hard.

4. Kurt Lojera
Kurt was a solid guard in the league. I am not really sure Phoenix is really that sad that he chose to play in another league. Although, he is still an interesting prospect due to his defense. Technically, he is not yet in MPBL.

3. Roi Sumang
This was mind-boggling. Northport needs a point guard now that Robert Bolick is gone. Sumang was the back-up of Robert. Maybe coach Bonnie Tan has other plans? Or maybe Roi is just fed up playing for a franchise who is not really looking to win a crown.

2. Joseph Gabayni
TNT showed interest into signing Joseph until Terrafirma claimed their right over him. So, Joseph just stayed with Bulacan. He is a PBA caliber player and I hope he will find a way to return for the next season in the league.

1. Encho Serrano
Encho is easily the biggest name who decided to leave the league for MPBL to play for Pampanga. Maybe he was not happy with the offer of Phoenix? Or maybe Governor Delta has a grand plan of finding a way to get him in Converge.
