PBA Trade Rumors: San Miguel, Phoenix and Northport CRAZY trade ideas!

I am quite surprised that the PBA on the Go preseason tournament is doing well and it is actually an entertaining display for a lot of bench and young players in the league.

So, to maximize what is happening, I decided to come up with another series of articles wherein we will suggest crazy trades to each team.

In this first edition, we will tackle San Miguel, Phoenix and Northport!

San Miguel - Junemar Fajardo for Scottie Thompson of Ginebra!
Which team will say no first? Can coach Tim Cone resist the opportunity of coaching the most dominant player in the league today? Can San Miguel say no to an opportunity of having the most popular and polarizing player in the PBA today?

Phoenix - Jason Perkins for #2 pick of Blackwater
Depending on the level of the talent of the upcoming draft, this trade will be very interesting for Phoenix. They will give up their best player but they will also get an opportunity to a cheaper and younger talent with that #2 pick. It will be a risk though because it is not a guarantee that they will get a top 10 player with that pick.

Northport - Will Navarro for Raymond Almazan of Meralco
Knowing that the Meralco Bolts is an MVP team, the interest to get Will should be there. Coach Bonnie Tan is connected to Letran. Almazan was the Dark Knight back in his NCAA days. Knowing the injury concerns of both players, this could be a swap that is worth looking into.
