Gilas Controversy: Ginebra superstar and others are injured. Where are the additions to the pool?

Gilas Pilipinas received a much-needed boost as Ray Parks, Roger Pogoy, and Calvin Oftana joined the team's practice session at the Meralco Gym. The three players, who missed the European training camp due to injuries, attended the practice despite heavy rainfall. Their return is timely, considering that Scottie Thompson, Dwight Ramos, and AJ Edu are currently sidelined with injuries.

The practice session also saw the participation of notable players such as June Mar Fajardo, Japeth Aguilar, CJ Perez, Jamie Malonzo, Thirdy and Kiefer Ravena, Poy Erram, Chris Newsome, Rhenz Abando, and naturalized players Justin Brownlee and Ange Kouame. The entire team engaged in a two-hour drill during their first practice back in Manila, except for Pogoy, who is still recovering from a fractured finger sustained during the PBA Governors' Cup finals.

Oftana suffered a calf strain while representing the national team in the 32nd Southeast Asian Games, while Parks was nursing an injured wrist. With the return of Parks, Pogoy, and Oftana, Gilas Pilipinas gains valuable depth and strengthens its roster ahead of upcoming competitions. The presence of these players adds to the team's preparations and boosts their chances of success.

Even with those positive news, it is still mind-boggling to me that the coaching staff has not announced any addition to the pool.

The pool is obviously not long enough. They even told the media that they are planning to increase the pool. Where is it?

I mean, what are they waiting for? Coach Tim Cone and coach Chot Reyes are at the helm and yet no addition has been done.
