PBA Team Power Ranking: Ginebra or Bay Area, which team is #1?

So, it is official, Bay Area Dragons will be part of the 2023-24 Commissioner's Cup. So, here is our updated team power ranking!

#10 Phoenix
Just the mere fact that Phoenix has not made a farm team trade at this point is a good thing already. I hope they can keep it up.

#9 Rain or Shine
I am happy Rain or Shine was chosen as the team that will represent the Philippines in the Jones Cup! They have good potential of making a surprise run because of their two top 4 picks.

#8 NLEX
I am excited to see if NLEX improved with a young big three of Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser, Kevin Alas and Don Trollano.

#7 Meralco
Meralco may have one more trade before the start of the season. Norbert Torres is a fine addition but I am not sure if it is enough.

#6 Converge
The performance of Justin Arana will make a lot of fans of Converge hopeful for the upcoming season. Unfortunately, they still need to find a way to replace the production that they loss with the upcoming departure of Maverick Ahanmisi.

#5 Magnolia
Magnolia is undefeated in the ongoing PBA on Tours. This speaks a lot about the level of the chemistry of the team.

#4 San Miguel
I am not confident that Junemar Fajardo can stay healthy for the entire tournament. If that is the case, the coaching staff should find a way to evolve.

#3 Ginebra
The added injury concern of Scottie Thompson and with their shallow depth in-terms of quantity in their backcourt has kept Ginebra in this place.

#2. TNT
TNT and Ginebra can switch places but I prefer them here for now because their issues are easier to fix compared to Ginebra.

#1. Bay Area
So, they will changed imports. That may turn out to be a bad move because Andrew Nicholson and Myles Powell were unstoppable last season.
