Let us continue one of our ongoing article series wherein we will point to the #1 player that your favorite team should not trade.
We are already done with half of the teams. For this edition we will have Barangay Ginebra, Blackwater and Terrafirma.
Ginebra - Scottie Thompson
This is a very hard one between three players. Scottie, Christian Standhardinger and Jamie Malonzo. I think Standhardinger is currently the best one. He basically showed that in the last two conference of the most recent season.
In terms of potential, Malonzo easily has the highest. I mean, he can be the #1 player of the league if he reaches his ceiling. But at the middle of both measurement is Scottie. Add the reality that Scottie is currently one of the face of the PBA and he is my choice here!
Blackwater - Tyrus Hill
I have been telling this for more than a year now, Hill has a very high potential. It is not as high as Jamie Malonzo but worth enough to hold on to him for a long time.
Terrafirma - #1 pick
I am kinda cheating but knowing that there is no clear answer from their current player, it should be enough reason to point to their upcoming #1 pick as the guy that they should not trade anytime soon.
