With amateur players starting to declare their intention to join the draft, the anticipation is building up!
#1 DYIP Justine Baltazar - With the decision of Barefield, Baltazar is currently the most realistic #1 contender that everyone is waiting for.
#2 BWE Luis Villegas - The MVP group is rumored to be eyeing this modern giant. So, Blackwater could be grabbing him for the mean time.
#3 ROS Stephen Holt - According to coach Yeng, he is also looking for tall wings and guards. Holt is 6'4 and that will be a tall wing in the PBA.
#4 ROS Henry Galinato - Remember that coach Yeng loves beefy bigs. Galinato is not only beefy. He is really strong and that strength gives him a very high potential.
#5 NOR Keith Datu - I did not notice right away that Datu has developed his body that he should be ready for the banging in the PBA.
#6 NLEX Deschon Winston - The chances of him falling is a big possibility because teams at the top of the draft are looking for bigs.
#7 PHX John Lloyd Clemente - I can just imagine how beautiful the offense of Phoenix with JLC, Perkins and Mocon playing at the same time.
#8 MER James Kwekuteye - Meralco want to get younger. James is just ripe at 25 and he is very talented.
#9 XERS Caelan Tiongson - So, we are assuming that this and #10 are traded to Terrafirma and Caelan was reported last year to play in the 3x3 of Ginebra.
#10 XERS Ricci Rivero - Now that he has announced his intention early to join the draft, hype could be coming for Ricci, pushing him to a top 10 slot.
#11 NOR CJ Lane - CJ is easily a dark horse in this draft. Northport could be getting two of the biggest in the draft and that could be an excellent choice.
#12 DYIP Ken Tuffin - Tuffin also declared early for the draft and has the craftiness to build his stock for a round 1 slot.
