PBA Trade Rumors: San Miguel-Blackwater Troy Rosario trade suggestion!

After a lot of happenings due to the 2023 draft, the focus has been on the signings of the different draftees. Although, we also saw some movements in the free agency market.

But, the biggest things that we are still waiting are on the trade table. There are big rumors already that were dropped in the past several months.

One of them is the rumor that TNT and San Miguel are interested to acquire Troy Rosario from Blackwater. Of course, it is very interesting that San Miguel is interested. So, what could be the packages that we can expect?

Blackwater get Chris Ross, Rodney Brondial and Noy Baclao

If the trade that will happen and Blackwater will act like a farm team, I expect them to get a package of quantity. I mean, a lot of players but if you sum it up, it will not equate to the trade value of Rosario. Ross is already 38 years old and Brondial is already 33.

The easy straight trade which is fair is a swap of Troy and Terrence. Both guys are born in the same year. Both are injury prone. Troy is a unique type of bigman. But Terrence is arguably top 5 in breaking down defenses. Add the marketability value of Terrence and I think this is the right trade for Blackwater.
