PBA Analysis: Can Terrafirma become the Boston Celtics of the Philippines?

Terrafirma has recently solidified its lineup with the acquisitions of first overall pick Stephen Holt and 12th overall pick Taylor Miller, both signing two-year contracts within the last week.

Represented by Marvin Espiritu of EMBM, Holt, 31, made his way to the Philippines on Wednesday, while Miller, under the management of Charlie Dy's Virtual Playground, arrived over the weekend. The contracts were officially inked by Dyip team manager Ronald Tubid. Holt's distinguished career includes stints in various basketball leagues such as the G League, Australia, Spain, Poland, Kazakhstan, Slovenia, and Romania, marking him as a standout rookie in the league.

Now, to further bolster their desire of being competitive, they re-designed their jersey using the Boston Celtics as inspiration.

Also, Stephen Holt made a bold statement that in his professional career, he never missed the playoffs. I mean, that streak is in real jeopardy.

So, can they become the Boston Celtics of the PBA?

There is no way that they can do that. Boston is considered as a royalty franchise in the NBA because of their history of success.

Terrafirma is so far away from that!
