PBA Trade Rumors: Ginebra-TNT potential BLOCKBUSTER Mikey Williams trades!

As the new PBA season approaches, TNT Tropang Giga is bracing to commence their campaign without the presence of Mikey Williams, whose status with the team remains uncertain. Despite the lingering uncertainty surrounding Williams, team manager and head coach Jojo Lastimosa emphasized that his absence has not disrupted the team's preparation for the upcoming season.

The Tropang Giga are set to kick off the season against Magnolia on November 5 at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum, and Lastimosa confirmed that they are ready to field a lineup that does not include Williams. During Tuesday's PBA Media Day at the One Esplanade, Lastimosa reiterated that there were no substantial developments regarding Williams' situation.

Lastimosa highlighted that the team has been engaged in a month-long preparation camp at the Inspire Sports Academy in Calamba, Laguna. He emphasized the importance of fairness in granting playing time to players who have been actively practicing with the team since the beginning, underscoring the necessity of including these dedicated athletes in the lineup.

Ginebra is one of the teams that could satisfy Mikey Williams. So, what could be the trades that TNT could face and try to get.

Win - Japeth Aguilar, Stanley Pringle and Jeremiah Gray for Mikey Williams and JP Erram

Mikey and JP Erram are younger than Japeth and Pringle. If TNT can then negotiate that Jeremiah should be part of the deal, TNT wins the trade. Although, not much of a big win, it is still better than nothing.

Fair - Japeth Aguilar and 1st round pick for Mikey Williams

I think Japeth is only good for another two years due to his age. Still, I can see him sustain a top 20 player form and top 5 center spot.

Loss - Stanley Pringle and 1st round pick for Mikey Williams

Numbers will show you that a 1st round pick is not enough to compensate for the difference between Mikey and Pringle.  Age is another matter again. So, this is the clearest L for TNT. They need to negotiate better if they receive this offer.
