We will continue our series of articles of predicting potential Mikey Williams trade between TNT and the SMC teams.
We already tackled the case of Barangay Ginebra San Miguel in this article, It is time to tackle the next team and that will be the Magnolia Hotshots.
I see them as the team that needs Mikey the most out of the camp of SMC. So, what could be the win, fair and loss trade for TNT if they will send Mikey Williams to Magnolia?
WIN - Mikey Williams for James Laput and Jio Jalalon
I have been vocal about this package. I think, this is the perfect package for Mikey if Magnolia is willing to give him a shot. Getting the peskiest defensive guard and a young giant is perfect for TNT that needs a starting PG and a future starting center.
FAIR - Abu Tratter and Jio Jalalon for Mikey Williams
Abu Tratter is better right now than James Laput but in terms of their future, James is the choice. So, this is just the perfect deal for the both teams. TNT will get an in-prime starting point guard and a capable starting center.
LOSS - Paul Lee for Mikey Williams
This is still the easiest. Lee is two years older than Mikey and that two years is just big enough for Mikey to have the clear better value. Paul is an elite player but Mikey is in one level higher.
