PBA Team Power Ranking: Terrafirma and Northport are legit contenders?

This tournament is starting with a bang! Just look at the standings and you will only see one familiar team at the top! So, let us rank them according to the likelihood that they will the championship!

#12. Blackwater Elite (#11 Previously)
The local players are trying and the coaching staff is looking to win but with their current import, it is much easier to give up on them than the other teams.

#11. Converge Fiber Xers (#7 Previously)
Do not ask me why Converge is keeping Tom Vodanovich as their import. There a handful of PBA superstars who are already playing better than him.

#10. Rain or Shine Elasto Painters (#10 Previously)
They are winless in three games but coach Yeng seems to be hard bent in winning and trying to contend in this tournament. Expect changes.

#9. Northport Batang Pier (#12 Previously)
I did not expect Venky Jois to be a monster! He is averaging 29.7 points, 63% FG, 13.0 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 2.0 steals and 1 block per game.

#8. Terrafirma Dyip (#9 Previously)
It is hard for me to believe that Terrafirma may have found a superstar in Javi Gomez De Liano. Is he a new blue chip trade asset or their upcoming face of the franchise?

#7. Phoenix Super LPG (#8 Previously)
As expected, Phoenix is the deadliest three-point shooting team with 13.7 makes per game and third best efficiency. We all know that three-point shooting is the biggest equalizer in modern basketball.

#6. Meralco Bolts (#6 Previously)
I love the depth of Meralco. I am not sure that the current system of coach Nenad Vucinic is already clear and promising but the team is playing with elite chemistry.

#5. NLEX Road Warriors (#4 Previously)
I know that Kevin Alas will missed the remainder of the tournament already but I cannot slide them down further because the teams behind them still have more question marks.

#4. TNT Tropang Giga (#5 Previously)
The sudden increase of the possibility that Mikey Williams will return has kept TNT in this position. Without that, they could fall really hard.

#3. Barangay Ginebra San Miguel (#2 Previously)
As expected, Maverick Ahanmisi will fit very well with Ginebra because they need a player like him. The issue here is, I feel like without Justin Brownlee, they do not have the players to save them in close games.

#2. San Miguel Beermen (#3 Previously)
I wonder how long will San Miguel keep their import. He is not the right one for them. But, Junemar Fajardo and CJ Perez are still at their elite form. It will be hard to bet against them.

#1. Magnolia Hotshots (#1 Previously)
Magnolia is way bigger this tournament than in the last few years. It helps a lot that James Laput is capable of playing big minutes now. They also added Abu Tratter. And of course, Tyler Bey has carried them to be the #1 defensive team in the league.
