PBA Trade Rumors: SMB legend is on the Trade Block!

In the latest episode of Snow Badua’s “No Cooking Show Podcast”, a surprising trade rumor has emerged. According to Badua, the San Miguel Beermen are reportedly considering trading their veteran shooting guard, Marcio Lassiter.

For fans of the Beermen, the news might initially come as a shock. Lassiter is nothing short of a legend for San Miguel. He was a crucial part of the formidable “Death 5” lineup, which also included Junemar Fajardo, Chris Ross, Alex Cabagnot, and Arwind Santos. This quintet has been instrumental in the team’s success over the years.

However, with Santos and Cabagnot already traded, it seems that the Beermen are not averse to making big moves involving their key players. Therefore, the possibility of Lassiter being traded is not entirely out of the question.

This season, Lassiter has been averaging 8.7 points per game with an impressive 50% 3-point field goal percentage. He’s also contributing 2.6 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game. Despite being 36 years old, Lassiter continues to be a reliable player on the court.

While the trade rumor has certainly stirred up discussions among fans and analysts, it’s important to remember that it’s just that - a rumor. Until there’s official confirmation from the team, all we can do is speculate.

Regardless of where Lassiter ends up, there’s no denying his significant contributions to San Miguel and his impact on the PBA. Whether he stays with the Beermen or moves on to a new team, fans can look forward to more exciting games from this seasoned player.
