In their match against San Miguel Beermen, coach Yeng Guaio was at it, again. During the second half of the game, we saw a lot of players altercation involving Chris Ross. And at the end of the game, we saw Coach Yeng and Ross in a verbal tussle.
And the biggest allegation was that, Coach Yeng threw the "N" word to Chris Ross. You can search for it in the internet. That word is a racial slur against black people. In essence, if you shout that to a black man, you are basically belittling his race.
Coach Yeng denied using the "N" word, but he did admit raising the middle finger towards Ross. On the other side, Ross have not issued a response.
ALLEGATION
Let us examine some facts. If we try to scour the news and the social networks, you will see that only coach Leo Austria claimed that coach Yeng said the "N" word. Even Chris Ross have not confirmed if it was really about the "N" word.
I am not saying that coach Leo is lying or just trying to put the spotlight on coach Yeng, but until we hear others, who are there, support his claim, we should at least give it a benefit of a doubt.
THE TRUTH
How can we know the truth then? We need to hear from Chris Ross himself. He, at least, need to validate, first, the claim of his coach. According to some who witnessed it, coach Yeng Guiao was basically trash-talking, putting emphasis on the word "bitch". He never shouted the "N" word.
But the real key, to find out the truth, is the referee. He was the one who was between the two during their tussle. He is also not connected on both teams, so his statement will be the purest out of all the people who were in the court in that game.
The question now is, should the PBA try to investigate?
I think, they should. Racism is a big issue in the world today, especially in sports. So, we need to make sure that we do not tolerate it.

This world is driven by all the races in the world. Nobody deserves any downgrading.
