Pringle is playing like Globalport doesn't need Romeo to return

One day, Batman was badly wounded in a fight and needed some time off, to fully recuperate. So, Robin step up and take the full duty of defending Gotham city. To the amazement of everybody, his full arsenal was looking way better than the Batman.

That is the case now, with Stanley Pringle and Terrence Romeo. Terrence is out with an injury, leaving Stanley alone

Even though we see them as the twin-headed monster that is driving the ship of Globalport, we always see Terrence in a higher standard. His game is just flashier and noticeable than that of Stanley.

Now that Terrence is out, could be until March, the focus is solely on Stanley Pringle.

And the Beard is cooking.

Playing against three squads that have coaches who value defense, Pringle managed to produced 28.3 points in 45% shooting from beyond the arc and 47% shooting in the field.

His main scoring weapon is still his three-point shooting. He knocked 13 long bombs so far, with a minimum of four per game.

Looking deeper at his shot selection, I was more amazed, because he was picking the right shots, statistically. If you watch NBA today, you will see that almost all teams  are attempting less and less midrange shots because that was proven to be the worst efficient shot in the game.

Stanley knows that, only attempting 16.2% of his field-goals in midrange. And he was awful, with 25% efficiency.

In the paint, he attempted 39.7% of his shots and he was respectable, knocking down 61.5% of his attempts.

And his three-pointers accounts for 44.1% of his attempts which is a superb rate, because his efficiency from beyond the arc, 45%, is elite!

Other than his scoring, his all-around game is also bullish. He is grabbing 9.0 rebounds per game and dishing 5.0 assists per game.

To put it into perspective, the combined 14 rebounds and assists of Stanley is just a bit lower than the 16.67 of Scottie Thompson and a bit higher than the 12.33 of Chris Ross.

Let us not forget the fact also that his defense is not below average too. He is canny and athletic enough to stop anyone.

A MAN ON HIS OWN

Add everything together and you have a stat-filling scoring machine in the hardcourt. A player that could do something incredible, in a full-season without a partner in his side.

A Robin who is more than capable of becoming the Batman. Or a Stanley Pringle who is more productive without Terrence Romeo.
