TRADE RUMOR! Is Asi Taulava Returning to TNT?

The number one source of rumors opened up about his first post regarding a bigman for two guards trade between two sister teams.

In the new post, he already named Jericho Cruz and point to NLEX as the possible destination. So, what kind of deal can TNT and NLEX make to improve both of their teams?

If Jericho Cruz is part of the package of TNT, a bigman could be the main return from NLEX. One behemoth stands out as a possibility, Asi Taulava.

Taulava had been more of a practice player for NLEX this season. Coach Yeng Guiao has been using a frontline rotation of Quinahan-Soyud-Miranda-Rabeh this year. And of course, that rotation helped them reached the semifinals in the Philippine Cup.

So, letting go of Asi Taulava will not be a big deal for NLEX. For TNT, he could be a big help.

If we follow the first post, it means TNT will add another guard to the package. The obvious one is Tamsi, who was, of course, part of the rejected package for Terrence Romeo. 

The other possibility is Mac Tallo, a rookie guard who has been buried in the bench due to the depth of the guard rotation of TNT and he has been battling a lot of injuries. 

I am hoping it will be Mac Tallo because the kid showed a lot of promise in the amateurs. Coach Yeng Guaio will surely provide an opportunity for him.

A Jericho Cruz, Mac Tallo for Asi Taulava deal doesn't look fair. Knowing that a sister-team deal should involve a third team, expect NLEX to provide an asset or a young player in the deal.

WILL IT HAPPEN?
Don't forget that we are only talking about a rumor. Most of the time it doesn't happen. For this one, the exchange will be positive for both teams, so I am hoping it will push through.
