In one of the recent tweet of one of the primary sources of trade rumors, @dbuzzketball of twitter, twitted the following.
Pba team 1 got an offer from pba team 2.
J or A for J.
Pba team 1 declined.
Instead they asked for S.
Pba team 2 declined.
All i know is, pba team 2 badly needs a player (shooter) like J.
When can it get one?
Checking which team is PBA team 1 will be hard to do because only one letter is involved. PBA team 2 though is easy because it has J, A and S.
So, which team have players that have the first letter of their first or last name that start with those three letters? The answer is Ginebra.
If those letters point to the capital letter of their first name, the Kings that are involved can be Japeth Aguilar, Joe Devance, Aljon Mariano, Jervy Cruz, Scottie Thompson or Alfred Tenorio.
And the other hint that it is Ginebra is their lack of three-point shooters. As of now they only have Joe Devance shooting better than 30%. In short, they badly need a shooter.
How likely is Ginebra looking to make a trade for a shooter? I think they are scrambling to get one. They are already at the near-bottom of the standing with their 3-5 record.
It is not hard to conclude that this could be true.
