The Calvin Abueva saga continues and today, things are becoming clearer.
According to one of the most reliable sources of trade tidbits, " 'C' asks his player agent to help him be traded". And to what team? He wants to go to G.
Let us make sure that we tackle all possible scenarios. The G team can be one of the two, Ginebra or Globalport.
Now, if you ask me how high is the chance that a player will ask for a trade to Globalport, I will say around 5%.
I don't see Globalport as a franchise can attract a PBA player to play for them. They do not have the prestige and history to do that.
In short, the G team is Ginebra.
Now, the C player can be any player that has a name starting with C. But, we all know that there is only one guy that is currently on the trade rumors with a name starting in C. His name is Calvin Abueva.
With his playing style and the fanfare behind him, it will not be a surprise if the Beast wants to be a King.
Now, the next question is, will Ginebra say yes to Alaska and offer the right package or player?
