There are two recent developments that we need to talk about.
Al-Hussaini is back
According to Spin.ph, Blackwater Elite is giving another shot to Rabeh Al-Hussaini, ending his indefinite suspension.
It seems like coach Bong Ramos was the one who instigated the re-activation of Rabeh due to the underwhelming play of their current bigs.
I think that is the right move because of Abu Tratter, Raymar Jose and Chris Javier's incapacity to solidify their frontline rotation.
Abu received 70 minutes in their first two games and he produced 26 points, 14 rebounds, 1 assist, 4 steals and 2 blocks. Overall, Abu was not a total disappointment but Blackwater needs more due to the fact that frontline is the most crucial position in the league today.
Rabeh will instantly become the most skilled big for Blackwater. The problem now is, he hasn't practiced with them so it may not be smooth in the early goings.
I am actually a big believer of Rabeh in terms of his on-court play. So, I am excited to see if he can be the main center of a team.
One last chance for James Forrester
James Forrester will have an opportunity to play again in Smart Araneta Coliseum after TNT Ka Tropa activated him in exchange of David Semerad.
Forrester is already 29-years old and it is hard to already buy him as a potential part of the core of a team but he does bring athleticism and he showed improved skillset outside the PBA.
He will join the wing rotation led by RR Pogoy who is currently leading the league in points. His defense will be his key in getting consistent minutes.
