The wrong news last week that Jeffrey Cariaso has replaced coach Alex Compton is not really that out of the line.
Cariaso will be calling the shots against Rain or Shine today at Mall of Asia Arena.
It could be a one-game try though for coach Jeff because coach Alex Compton is back from United States.
According to Spin.ph, he attended an important family matter in the United States.
Coach Jeff was actually the one who prepared the Aces for this conference, where they will begin without Vic Manuel, Simon Enciso, Jvee Casio and Chris Banchero.
Now, if you are an Aces fan, do you want to give coach Jeff a try for a whole conference?
Coach Alex had been on the helm from the last conference of 2014 to 2018. Out of the 13 conferences that he has handled, coach Alex managed to lead them to the Finals, five times.
I do know that you, Alaska fans, have suffered a lot of heartbreaks with him at the top, the hardest is the 0-3 comeback of the San Miguel Beermen.
But coach Alex is actually a very good coach. Do not forget the fact Alaska fans that Alaska never had a top 5 roster in his tenure!
If you are looking to replace someone, I do not think coach Alex should be that guy.
