Let us continue talking about the top trade assets in the PBA. When you say that a player is the top trade assets, he is the player that will give his team the best trade package.

Today, we will tackle Magnolia, Alaska, Northport and Phoenix.

Magnolia - Ian Sangalang
Magnolia's roster may not be as good as that of San Miguel and Brgy. Ginebra, but they still have plenty of premium trade assets. Paul Lee, Mark Barroca and Jio Jalalon will surely bring a lot to Magnolia but Ian is a center. Actually, he is not only a center but an elite center. He is currently averaging 16.3 points, 10.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.7 blocks and 43% FG per game.

Alaska - Jeron Teng
This is a hard one to decide. It boils down to Jeron Teng and Chris Banchero. Banchero is way better of a player now, averaging 13.2 points, 5.2 rebounds, 5.0 assists 33% 3FG per game. He was the best local player of Alaska last conference where they ended up in the finals.

Jeron Teng though is having a breakout conference, producing 14.7 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 39% FG per game. Teng is way younger than Banchero and can play multiple positions. I think, there are more teams out there who will give more for Teng than Banchero.

Northport - Stanley Pringle
This one is easy. Pringle is one of the top 5 players in the league and will surely give back a boatload of quality picks and assets for Pringle.

If Terrence Romeo brought them Moala Tautuaa, a 1st round pick and a 2nd round pick, imagine what package they will get for Pringle? Maybe a better version of what they got for Terrence. A quality bigman and more than one 2nd round pick and more than one 1st round pick.

Phoenix - Calvin Abueva
The decision is between Matthew Wright and The Beast. Wright has legitimized himself as one of the deadliest scorers in the league, capable of pulling up from anywhere in the court and is willing to drive into a crowd in the paint.

Abueva's name value and his overall play will trump what Matthew brings. I do not think Abueva is a way better asset than that of Wright but Abueva will surely bring an extra 2nd round pick in comparison to Wright.
