It seems like any Bobby Ray Parks fantasy of fans of other teams will not become reality anytime soon.
That is if the statement of Mr. Dioceldo Sy, the owner of Blackwater, in the recent article of Spin.ph is true.
He said that he already talked to boss Hans Sy of SM Prime that no trade will happen soon.
At the face value of the statement, it guarantees Parks to be part of Blackwater in the near future. But by using the word "soon", there is no guarantee that a trade will not happen in the later future.
Or maybe as early as Commissioner's Cup.
Nonetheless, we need to wait for the week after Holy Week because Blackwater gave Parks time to rest after his stint with Alab. He is scheduled to return after Holy Week.
If he returns to practice by then and that whole week past without a strong trade rumor, you should squash any hope for a trade.
Although, one news that has been missing in the timeline is about his contract signing. The last one that I read was about Blackwater seeking the help of the PBA in forcing Parks to sign a deal with them.
Maybe, that thing was already fixed?
But, where was the news about it?
