PBA Trade Rumor: Is Jericho Cruz on his way to NLEX?

I was supposed to write an article that will answer the question, did TNT wasted the 6th pick of the 2018 draft (Javee Mocon) and Sidney Onwubere? 

Why? That was the price that TNT sent for Jericho Cruz. And this conference? Cruz was in the reserved list and according to sources he is still not allowed to practice with the team even though he is already healthy.


We may have an answer today. 

According to our sources, someone was assured to be sent to NLEX and the simple clue in the tweet of "but how?" implies that it is not that easy to facilitate the trade. And in the PBA, a trade between sister teams should have a third squad to facilitate.

Actually, NLEX badly needs Jericho Cruz. Remember when coach Yeng said that they badly need a guard with consistent quality play? Jericho could be that guy.

The question now is, what could be the return?

I do not think Cruz will merit a 1st round pick after battling injuries and bad numbers in TNT. I think TNT will get a center in this trade. Maybe, Asi Taulava finally returns to TNT? Or how about JR Quinahan who is one of the best three-point shooting big in the league?
