PBA Trade Rumor: North Port will complete the Jericho Cruz to NLEX trade

According to our reliable source, the trade papers of Jericho Cruz to NLEX trade will be sent to the PBA Commissioner's office, today.

This means that Jericho Cruz will finally play basketball again after TNT put him in the sideline last conference and up to this point, we haven't heard any acceptable reason for it. The injury concerns that TNT management said during the Philippine Cup was already healed. as per Jericho's camp, and yet they did not play Jericho this conference.

Last Monday, Phoenix was the rumored third team conduit of this NLEX-TNT exchange but according to this new rumor, North Port will be the one to help them.

So, what will North Port give up to help them? According to the rumors, they will only give up draft picks. With the way TNT handled Jericho, I do not think Batang Pier should give up a first round pick. 

If TNT will end up getting only 2nd round picks, TNT will end up losing a lot of value for trading for Cruz last year. Last year, they gave up a 1st round rookie in Sidney Onwubere and a 2018 1st. So, it may look like TNT gave up two 1st round picks for 2nd round picks. 

We are also not aware of what NLEX will give up for Cruz. Maybe TNT can ask for Marion Magat who could add height to their team. Philip Paniamogan is a good player at both ends of the court.
