Is Robert Bollick the next PBA Superstar?

It was heartbreaking. When you are on the verge of doing something great but failed to lock in the deal, it will feel really terrible.

Just like how Bollick cried once San Miguel Beermen managed to escape from a gigantic upset that could have easily changed the PBA because I am pretty sure the Beermen would have made moves.

Wait. Why did Bollick cry? Is he even deserving to cry in that game? He is only a rookie playing in his second conference! There is no way he had felt the dismay and the disappointments of Sean Anthony, Moala Tautuaa and even Kevin Ferrer, just to name a few. And the guy only has 13 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists, 3 turnovers and even shot 4/17 during the game!

Tautuaa and Garvo Lanete were the ones who kept them in the game and pushed their comeback from a double-digit deficit.

Yes. Maybe Bollick should not have cried at the end of the game. That is not the proper way to do it! He should not have done that!

And you know what, that what makes him special. He doesn't care about what the PBA universe will say with what he does! It doesn't matter if he was only a rookie! It doesn't matter if he has veteran players who have suffered more! He doesn't care if the defeat was just in the quarterfinals and not in the championship!

Those things don't matter to him! What matters to him was the heart that he put into that game. He doesn't care if he shows them how weak he is to defeats and failures because you know what? It just shows how important winning is to him!

He is the kind of basketball player that deserves your admiration. You do not need to root for the Batang Pier franchise to admire the guy!

Robert wants to succeed and he always leaves his heart in the court. Surely, he will let you down in the future but the guy will not go down without a fight.
