Let us continue naming the X Factor for each team this conference. This is the player that is not one of the three bests in the team but will have a major impact in their campaign. If he fails to meet the hype, his team will suffer a lot.
SAN MIGUEL - Terrence Romeo
Terrence Romeo is on a hot streak. After winning the 2019 PBA Commissioner's Cup Finals MVP, Romeo sustained his fiery form in the Terrific 12. The improving demeanor and team-friendly style is clicking well for the most talented team in the league. His role will once again be a microwave scorer who should create for his teammates.
BLACKWATER - Rabeh Al-Hussaini
With the departure of Abu Tratter, I expect Blackwater to give more minutes to Rabeh. In terms of size, Rabeh should get a lot of breathing room this conference because he is a legit 6'7. The team will also expect him to continue taking three-pointers. If he hit enough long bombs that will legitimize him as a threat, the Elite will have better spacing. Better spacing will maximize their offense.
TNT - Don Trollano
Once considered to be an ordinary role player, has found a starting job in a legit title contender. That is the result of being a hardworker on both ends of the court and even in practice. Don is the energy guy of TNT. He is one of the reason why their weakness in size was not felt that much last conference. They expect him to do that again.
ALASKA - Abu Tratter
They did not get Abu to just develop him. He was bound to get majority of the minutes in the center position. In their first two games, it was not that impressive. He averaged 12.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and 36% FG per game. If he wants to help them win, he needs to jolt his efficiency. He also needs to be more consistent because Noy Baclao is now on the sideline.
