2020 PBA Trade-Value Ranking - Phoenix: Wright or Abueva?

Let us continue ranking the players of each team according to their trade value.  Let us define trade value as the potential return if a player will be traded, alone.

For today, we will be having the Phoenix Fuel Masters. If the players are not ranked, it indicates that I do not see the other teams paying value to get them.

#5 Jorey Napoles, Jay-R Reyes, JC Intal
I do not think Reyes has a value at the very moment because he was actually a newly signed free-agent. But the moment he plays one game, wherein I expect him to show his worth, he should be able to give Phoenix a 2nd rounder. Same with JC Intal because of his name recognition. Jorey is the guy that could potentially give them more as long as he gets more opportunity this year.

#4 Alex Mallari, RJ Jazul, Brian Heruela
These are the proven veterans who are still in their prime. Mallari's size and playmaking is his biggest selling point. While Heruela has been one of the better defenders in the guard position. And of course, Jazul has been a very good shooter.

#3 Jason Perkins, Justin Chua
I do not think all the other teams look at these two players in the same range. Some teams will value more the skills of Perkins. He is a decent defender who can pass, rebound, shoot and score. While the other squads will appreciate more the ability of Chua to defend centers. Overall, there should be a team out there that is willing to give up a 1st round pick for each big.

#2 Calvin Abueva
Because of the suspension, Calvin's value as of today is actually zero. Nonetheless, I decided to predict his value the moment his suspension is lifted. Knowing his allure to the PBA fans and the quality of his play, Abueva is more likely to be worth above a 1st rounder.

#1 Matthew Wright
Wright is the franchise player of Phoenix and I think all the other franchises also see him at that level. Matthew averaged 18.9 points, 4.2 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 1.4 steals and 34% 3FG per game. At the minimum, he should be able to net Phoenix with the same value that Northport got from Ginebra for Stanley Pringle.
