PBA News: This is the reason why Terrence Romeo should not be hated but respected

If you hear the name Terrence Romeo. What is the first word that comes into your mind?

I will not be shocked if it is the word "buwaya" because the guy has been the most popular volume scorer in the league in the past few years. The other word could be "mayabang" because of his swag in making his moves. Some may have the word "shooter" because he can make every type of jump shot in the book.

The way Terrence Romeo plays always attract negative attention. He is much easier to hate than to like. Every time he dribbles the ball for ten seconds and then takes a bad shot, the majority of us cringe.

Actually, a lot of issues have been thrown to Terrence in the past few years. From problems with coaches in Globalport and of course, the rumored clashed with the veteran core of TNT. But all throughout those issues, there was a thing that was constant.

Terrence never shared anything with the media. He never defended himself with the media. He never threw trash towards the other party.

Can an average human being do that? The guy's humility is severely underrated. He willingly took all the negativity and never threw any media negativity to his workmates.

And now that we are facing this COVID-19 crisis. It was not shocking to me that he was one of the PBA players who donated money and effort in helping our country. He is using one-month salary to purchase foods and supplies that he will send to at least, five hospitals.

Actually, a doctor from Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo hospital revealed that the guy has been donating for a while. He has been making donations even before he was drafted in the PBA!

And you know what makes him even amazing? You will never see anything in his social media accounts that exhibits it! While almost every other famous personality makes sure that their followings will see what they are doing for positive publicity.

Yes. The simple point of this article is, Terrence could be the most "buwaya" player in the PBA but he is easily the guy with the highest humility in the league, too.
