PBA Trade Prediction: The first TNT, Rain or Shine and Northport players to be traded

We are already done with six teams. It is time to continue predicting the next players that your favorite team will trade next.

Today, we will be having TNT, Rain or Shine and Northport.

Northport - Jerramy King

If you remember last year, King was rumored to be pushing for a trade out of Columbian to go to Ginebra. The trade happened but King did not end up with Ginebra. That doesn't mean though that it will not happen.

The guy that you could be anticipating for them is Christian Standhardinger. But, if San Miguel Corporation was planning to send Standhardinger to either Ginebra or Magnolia, that trade should have happened already. Now that the season already started, the eyes of the fans will be very hot for any Standhardinger trade. Especially if Northport will have a good start in their conference. So, I think before that big Standhardinger trade, Northport will do a small exchange and it will involve King.

Rain or Shine - James Yap

I have this strong feeling that Rain or Shine will unload one of their veteran stars, soon. So, it is either Belga, Yap or Norwood. Belga has been in a lot of rumors last year but nothing happened. Maybe, Rain or Shine was not interested in the offers that they have received.

But, knowing that they have added interesting rookies who play in the wing position, there is a good chance that the playing time of Yap will further be decreased. And they will realize that keeping him longer will just further pull down his value. Also, he is already very old and a lot of Purefoods fans are still clamoring for his return. Especially with the upcoming retirement of PJ Simon.

TNT - Bobby Ray Parks

It is hard to see TNT making any trade at this point because they have unloaded a lot of assets in their past few trades. They do not have their 1st round pick in the next three drafts. Also, all their role players look perfect for their roles.

So, if they are going to make a trade, it could be because their current starting five failed to do the job and they need to shake it up. If that happens, I believe the first guy that they will try to exchange is Parks because of the rumored disconnection between him and his teammates.
