It seems like nothing will stop the PBA now from conducting their bubble tournament!
After a lot of hiccups due to the pandemic, they are finally allowed to conduct a PBA bubble in Pampanga this October to December, 2020
So, here is the series of articles that will provide the biggest questions for each team as a primer for the possible return of the league.
Our focus today will be the Magnolia Hotshots. They will miss Marc Pingris in the bubble tournament because of a calf injury. Other than his calf, his chronic foot and ankle injuries are also bothering the superstar.
I think that should be expected for a 38 years old basketball player.
Actually, he is not the only Magnolia player that is already 33 years old and older. Also on the list are Rafi Reavis, Mark Barroca and Justin Melton.
All of those guys are vital to what the Hotshots are doing. Actually, they only have six players who are younger than 30 years old.
So, it begs the question if they can take advantage of this year being a short single tournament and tank their way for the #1 pick.
Who will be the target?
Kobe Paras.
A player that fits pretty well with the top 2 faces of the franchise' history, James Yap and Alvin Patrimonio.
Paras is also big enough to be a partner of Ian Sangalang in their frontline.
