PBA Rumors: An independent team will leave the PBA?

Snow Badua gave us another interesting rumor that we should talk about. Unlike the usual, the rumor is not about trades.

So, in the Twitter post, he said that two years ago, he already told us that one independent team will sell their franchise. And he said, "exit the dragon".

Let us talk first about the clue that it is an independent team. Of course, there are six of them. But at this point, Blackwater, Terrafirma and Northport have not proven that they are really in the league to win championships.

So, we are down to Alaska, Rain or Shine and Phoenix. Alaska was the one who was rumored recently.

And if we apply the other clue, it becomes obvious that Rain or Shine is the team that they are pointing here. 

They entered the league as Welcoat Dragons. 

If Rain or Shine is planning an exit, I wonder what is the reason behind it. I will not be shocked if it is due to the pandemic.

I will also understand them if they are just fed up with the way PBA is being run. Yes, I am pointing to the lopsided trades that are ruling over the league. 

Although, I suspect that it could be a combination of the two.

Personally, I really hope that they will not push through with it.
