PBA Controversy: Coach Tim Cone versus Al Francis Chua, which side are you?

It seems like there is brewing strife inside the camp of Brgy. Ginebra San Miguel as coach Tim Cone continues to speak to the media about a Greg Slaughter return to Ginebra.

In the latest report, he said that he was happy that Greg is already communicating with the management and that he is looking forward to the return of Greg.

In a way, this is in contrast with coach Al Francis Chua who was surprised when he heard about the apology of Greg and that he was not willing to talk about yet to enjoy the holidays.

He also said that Greg realized that what he did was wrong.

So, does that mean that Greg is returning to the Brgy. Ginebra San Miguel?

Not yet.

Remember that coach Tim has always been pro-Greg Slaughter. He always wanted him to return. There was even a rumor that he was the one who stopped several Slaughter trades in the past.

So, it is easy to assume that coach Al Francis is on the other side of the coin. He was not happy when Greg decided to go on a sabbatical.

So, if we say that coach Tim wants Greg to return and coach Al wants a trade, which side are you with?

If you think about it, which decision will be more beneficial to Ginebra?

They have proven twice that they can win without Greg Slaughter. I think, that says a lot.
