PBA Trade Rumors: Standhardinger will not be traded to Ginebra or Magnolia!

The governor of Northport answered a rumor that has been persisting for a while. Will they trade Standhardinger, or not?

Mr. Erick Areola told the media that they won't trade him and that Christian is a very vital part of their team.

Actually, let me correct him. Standhardinger is not only a vital part of their team. He is their team. The success and failure of their squad resides on the shoulder of Standhardinger.

Nevertheless, PBA fans who are longing for parity should be happy that the governor told the media that they will not trade Standhardinger.

At the very least, the governor of Northport put his reputation on the line by telling the media that a trade will not happen.

His words though is not enough to stop a Standhardinger trade.

What if in the middle of the Philippine Cup, Ginebra or Magnolia is badly in need of a high-caliber bigman?

And if the connection of Northport to San Miguel is true, then San Miguel can force Northport to help Ginebra or Magnolia.

At the very least, this is a good step for parity.
