2021 PBA Mock Draft 3.0: Ginebra chose Ray Parks' successor in Alab!

Here is our latest mock draft where we did a Gilas draft!

GILAS DRAFT

#1 DYIP Calvin Oftana - It seems pretty obvious now that Calvin will be the price of the Gilas draft. There is a good chance that he is the 2nd coming of Troy Rosario and that will be awesome for Dyip.

#2 NOR Santi Santillan - The connection of the San Miguel Corporation to the DLSU could work here. Other than that, a forward is really the need of Northport. Santillan can shapeshift depending to their need.

#3 NLEX Ken Holmqvist - I am pretty sure coach Yeng Guiao will not waste the chance of drafting one of the two tallest players in this draft. Ken was part of the Gilas cadet in the past, so I chose him here.

#4 NLEX Will Navarro - I will not be shocked if coach Yeng Guiao will see a lot of Gabe Norwood on Navarro. Will just embraced doing the little things. He doesn't care about the limelight.

#5 ROS Jaydee Tungcab - He may not ring a bell to any casual fans but Tungcab is a good fit for Rain or Shine because he is a hardworker in the court and does his very best on the defensive end.

#6 MAG Jun Manzo - Manzo is a small point guard but he has proven his ware as a consistent quarterback. Unfortunately, Magnolia ended up with the guard. Fortunately, it was basically a free one.

REGULAR DRAFT

#1 DYIP Joshua Munzon - According to Snow Badua, Munzon is the main target of Columbian in this draft. If CJ will be traded, Joshua can easily takeover his role. Joshua will be more versatile than CJ.

#2 NOR Jason Brickman - I can see Northport having a pretty strong line-up other than their point guard position. So, Brickman is a good choice as he is more than capable of maximizing Standhardinger and others.

#3 NLEX Jamie Malonzo - NLEX can keep on piling up forwards and bigs in this draft as they go for Malonzo. If they managed to grab Malonzo, he will be an excellent partner to Kiefer and Quinahan.

#4 NLEX Alvin Pasaol - To finish their four picks, adding a wingman is a better choice. Pasaol can start as a scoring hub off-the-bench of NLEX. I also like to watch him be coached by coach Yeng.

#5 ROS Troy Rike - Rain or Shine will not waste the opportunity to grab a 6'8 who can hit three-point shot. Troy will be a fit to Rain or Shine right away. With a lot of veterans in the team, Troy should develop pretty well.

#6 MAG James Laput - James to Magnolia is one of our pet combination for now. Unless we hear that Laput' stock is already increasing in the eyes of the other PBA teams.

#7 ALA Taylor Statham - I expect Alaska to do their due diligence and find Taylor as a very interesting prospect. That he is an excellent combo to Jeron Teng and Maverick Ahanmisi.

#8 DYIP Jordan Heading - With Calvin Oftana and Joshua Munzon, Terrafirma should continue to look for talent and at this point, Heading could be their guy. He is a San Miguel guy. You know the drill.

#9 MER Larry Muyang - Meralco may want to add another center because of the injury concern to Almazan and Baclao. Muyang is the best available at this point. He is huge and capable.

#10 PHX Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser -  Phoenix should look to add a center in this draft. They have a very skilled core but adding a player who can withstand giants is a must.

#11 NOR Ben Adamos - Northport should consider adding a center, if the rumors about a Standhardinger trade will become a reality. Adamos is a good defensive force.

#12 BGSM Jeremiah Gray - Gray's athleticism is his biggest selling point. Coach Tim Cone is known to be good at developing guys like Gray. So, I expect Jeremiah to have a good ceiling if he reached Ginebra.

  1. Nagpapalaki nga ng guard ang Gilas tapos ibibigay mo ang liit na guard (International Standard naman ang mentality pls.)
