I was speechless that the league accepted this trade without including a Cabagnot, Ross, Lassiter, or Pessumal in the trade.
At the very least, if one of those guys went to Terrafirma, we can at least say that Terrafirma got deeper.
Now? They are just a plain worse team for accepting an additional 1st round pick and their original package of Russell Escoto, Matthew Ganuelas-Rosser, Gelo Alolino and the #8 pick of the upcoming draft.
That 1st round pick will surely be at the bottom 4, now that CJ Perez is added to the fold of the San Miguel Beermen.
For the league to see that three bench players and two late 1st are enough for the back-to-back scoring champ of the league, who did not ask for a trade, is embarrassing. Those people who decided on this trade should not be the ones who are doing it.
They do not know what they are doing!
To provide you a good comparison, let us remember the trade of Anthony Davis to Lakers. Before being traded to the Lakers, Davis was considered as a top 10 player already but a failure in the playoffs.
So, we expect him to be traded for a much higher return in the NBA compared to CJ Perez.
Davis was traded for two blue-chip prospects (Lonzo Ball and Brandon Ingram who are both #2 picks on their respective drafts), a good prospect (Josh Hart) and three 1st round picks.
CJ Perez was also traded for three players and picks. Instead of blue-chip prospects, he was traded for bench players. Compared to three first round picks, he was traded for two 1st round picks.
That clearly shows how rotten the PBA as a league now.
I forgot my grade.
I will give both of them an F. They are destroying the image of the league.

Gone are the days of interesting/exciting games due to balance caliber of players. Nowadays, only the commercial/business aspects are the paramount importance of these teams. What a shame!!!
