PBA Trade Rumors: Slaughter or Sangalang, who is the better fit for Ginebra?

 

After the CJ Perez to San Miguel trade. It again feels like the rumored three-team trade between Northport, Ginebra and Magnolia is inevitable.

The biggest part of the trade is that Magnolia is about to add one of the top 10 players in Sangalang. But the potential decision of exchanging Slaughter for Sangalang is also a crucial one.

The reality is, we are talking about our defending champion who won the crown even without Slaughter or Sangalang.

In short, Ginebra is about to add a big piece to their championship core.

Which one is better for them?

We can say that the biggest difference between Sangalang and Slaughter is size and skills. Slaughter' size has been maximized by coach Tim Cone in the past.

On the other hand, Sangalang' skill is way much better than that of Slaughter. But in terms of their offense, we can that things will not change that much.
