So, the PBA wants their 3x3 to begin as soon as possible. It seems like the intention is to show that they are a league that is already starting its season.
Speaking of 3x3, a lot of teams will decide soon which are the three players in minimum who will be part of their squad.
Ginebra will be one of the most interesting teams to watch out for because they have a pretty interesting combination of veterans and young players.
So, who should be part of their 3x3 team?
Ken Holmqvist
Ginebra already has a deep frontline with Japeth Aguilar, Christian Standhardinger, Prince Caperal and Arvin Tolentino. So, it will be a blessing in a way that Ken will get some needed reps in a competitive basketball environment.
Kent Salado
I am still a big believer in Kent's potential but with LA Tenorio, Scottie Thompson, Stanley Pringle and Jeff Chan, the guard rotation of Ginebra is pretty set. I also think that Brian Enriquez' skillset is needed more by Ginebra more than that of Kent.
Art Dela Cruz
I think, with the injury history of Art, it is good for him to get some reps in the 3x3 team. He also needs to dust-off a lot of his injury days.
