PBA Draft: Is the PBA about to loss a lot of their future superstars?

Kobe Paras went to the United States before he was even 18, to pursue his NBA dream. He accepted failure and returned to the Philippines.

And now, because of how bad the COVID-19 has affected our country, especially sports competitions, Kobe is returning to the foreign land.

And I support his decision, 100%!

Now, do not be shocked if Kobe will not be the last to do it. Up to this point, nobody knows if UAAP can have a basketball tournament this year.

That means a lot of the UAAP and NCAA stars will miss two seasons of their career. Unless they follow the path of Kobe and Thirdy and Tuffins.

And with the Thirdy is performing in Japan, it will not be shocking if a lot of amateur players who will follow in his footsteps will also do well.

Paras is gifted with good size and athleticism. He is not the most athletic but at the very least, Kobe actually put an effort on the defensive end.

What is very interesting in the way they explained his decision, they pointed to other opportunities. So, what happened to the opportunity of reaching the PBA?

It seems like our amateur players have realized one thing that the PBA fails to acknowledge this century.

The PBA is not advancing at all. They are the same "oldest professional basketball league" in Asia. And that's it.
