PBA Analysis: Alaska's future could be at the hand of these 3 players

Alaska Aces is currently in the rebuilding phase. They just traded two of their core players in the last two years. I am talking about Chris Banchero and Vic Manuel.

To properly rebuild, a franchise should find players that could carry them to the championships in the future. In the PBA, it is crucial that those players are bigman.

Alaska did take note of that as they now have one quality bigman prospect from the last three drafts. Abu Tratter of 2018, Kevin Ebona of 2019 and Ben Adamos of 2020.

The development of these three players could be the most important factor for the ceiling of Alaska in the next 3-to-5 seasons.

In the PBA bubble, Abu produced 10.6 points, 6.5 rebounds, 0.7 steal and 54% FG per game. He was a good finisher and not that bad on defense.

Kevin Ebona was the revelation as nobody expected him to adapt in the PBA during his rookie season. Kevin averaged 7.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 59% FG per game.

Kevin is a banger inside. He works hard for rebounds and has the strength to push his opponents to create good shots for himself.

Ben Adamos will be the upcoming rookie. What is interesting was the revelation of Ben that they are currently training his three-point shooting.

That will be a game-changer for Alaska because they do not have a stretch bigman.

If Adamos, Ebona and Tratter continue to improve, Alaska may have a new brand of big 3 that can propel them to higher level.
