So, it seems like the PBA is not in line to start a season this month. Let us hope that by July, everything will be cleared up.
Teams are already in the process of preparation. That means, they can now evaluate what their team needs and what they can give up on a trade.
So, who are the three centers that I am betting to be traded next?
Rain or Shine - Beau Belga
The easiest member of this list. Together with Jio Jalalon, Belga has been the most popular name on the trade rumor mill in the past few months.
It was not shocking because it started a few years ago. It seems like Rain or Shine is playing the hard-to-get card and that is understandable for a franchise that has been helped by the image and popularity of Belga.
Ginebra - Prince Caperal
I still believed that Ginebra will move one of their bigs in the bench for a piece that fits them better. Caperal is still my #1 candidate but that may change if Standhardinger's injury is worse than expected.
Meralco - Cliff Hodge
His name was brought out by one rumor this month. I think it is logical for Meralco to trade him for an upgrade because of the arrival of Noy Baclao and Mac Belo. Belo is a different but better version fo Hodge. While Baclao is better against a giant.
