Who is the most hated PBA player, today?
I think Bobby Ray Parks is clearly one of the candidates. I actually think that he may not have that much competition. Jio Jalalon can contend with him but after that, the PBA is lacking a player with as much hate as Ray Parks.
And then a shocking turn of events happens. TNT allowed Ray Parks to play for Japan B League. The same league that Thirdy Ravena is currently playing for.
The PBA is allowing Ray Parks, because Parks is not currently in a contract with a team after not accepting the offer of TNT.
With the foregoing, we can now say that the PBA will allow players to sign to an International League, as long as they finished their contract.
For me, this is an awesome development.
Now. I am really excited to see Ray Parks play in Japan. If Thirdy is already that good in Japan, wait for Ray Parks.
Parks is so much more skilled compared to Thirdy. The guy produced 22.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.5 steals per game in the PBA bubble!
He did that for a Finalist! He did not do that for a weak team.
Parks could be putting up foreign-import-level of production in Japan. You may hate him now, but I hope you will consider chearing for him if he shows domination in Japan.
