The biggest discussion point around PBA players right now is the offers and possibilities of them going to Japan B League.
The biggest offer though may have been offered to Terrence Romeo. It was worth $2.7 Million for three years.
Using P48.00 per $1, that is worth around P129 million!
Terrence decided not to push through with that, because according to him, "utang na loob". A debt of gratitude to Ramon S Ang who embraced him when TNT wanted to puked him out.
Although, technically, if he signed the offer from that Japan B League team, he will surely face the same problem that Kiefer Ravena is facing right now.
But I just wonder if Terrence did not only let go of that huge financial opportunity but maybe life-changing stardom.
Terrence is only 29 years old. Remember when he fascinated entire Asia with his play for our national team?
I think, he can easily do that also in Japan B League. The fame of Terrence was also proven by his own sneaker signature deal.
So, what if Terrence just missed the train to become the face of Asian basketball?
