PBA Trade Rumors: Alaska will trade Ahanmisi to Magnolia?

 

It seems like the Magnolia fans are already prepared for a Jio Jalalon trade. With the non-stop "kalokohan" of Jio, the majority of the Magnolia fans are already tired of him.

One of the first rumors that were posted regarding the potential destination of Jio is this one from PBA on the go, Alaska is offering Maverick Ahanmisi for Jio Jalalon.

According to the Twitter page, it was Ahanmisi plus picks.

It is hard to buy it because of two different reasons. First, Jalalon should not be treated as a higher-value player than Maverick with the amount of baggage that he will bring and the fact that Ahanmisi can play the wing position.

Second, Alaska is known to be tired already with hard-headed players. With their experience with Calvin Abueva and even Vic Manuel, it is hard to see them making the first move to get another head-case in Jalalon.

The issues that happened around Manuel and also Abueva in the past are not things that fits the image of the Alaska franchise.

Same with the current cheating issue of Jio.

On the other hand, Magnolia may want to get a Maverick in exchange for Jio because Maverick can play the wing position and is a much better shooter.

Getting an additional pick makes that rumored trade an easy win for them.
