If you think the issue and drama surrounding Greg Slaughter is already over. Think again.
Greg was late in arriving for the ongoing PBA season that he missed the first game. Everyone though was surprised that he still did not play for their second game.
Coach Pido Jarencio explained after their game against Phoenix Super LPG that Greg was the one who requested not to play first.
Greg though has refuted this. He said on his social media that he has been tested several times and has been prepared physically, to play against Phoenix and even in their first game.
For this situation, it is hard to see how things may have been misunderstood by the two parties. One of the parties is lying.
Snow Badua posted something about the situation, stating that the Northport management is worried about doing something with Greg because Greg has an ace under his sleeve and that Northport is anxious that Greg could be bound to the MVP group.
My first question about it is, why should Northport be worried when they have the key for him to be traded?
And, Northport is supported by the San Miguel Corporation. The rival conglomerate of the MVP group in the PBA.
I will not be shocked though if Greg really wants to change side because MVP is the one handling Gilas and Greg badly wants to play for Gilas.
