After settling the contract dispute with Mikey Williams. It seems like TNT has not totally solved the uncertainty surrounding their price rookie.
According to the sources of Snow Badua, Mikey Williams is still not training with TNT. Actually, he may not even be in the PBA yet.
He could still be in the United States. According to Snow, one of the reasons provided by the camp of Mikey was some sort of illness but that was one month ago.
What if Mikey Williams doesn't really want to play for TNT? Should TNT consider trading him?
I think, the answer is yes.
By the looks of it, Mikey may still end up playing with TNT but he could bring some risk. He could just be the next in line of the Terrence Romeo, Ray Parks.
Is it not much better that TNT would just let him go and let coach Chot Reyes grab some decent players to round up his rotation?
Another Ray Parks / Terrence Romeo issue could further tear up the image of the franchise. For a so-called flagship franchise, TNT has not been acting like one.
Just in case Mikey Williams will be traded, TNT may still end up with a superb creator. Maybe, they are the team that can make Kiefer Ravena, stay.
