If you think CJ Perez will be the last young star that San Miguel will trade for this year, you may need to think twice.
We already have two prevailing rumors that they want to get Robert Bolick and Jamie Malonzo of Northport Batang Pier.
Out of the two, Bolick is looking like a big question mark if they really need him.
In their first game this season, we saw CJ Perez and Terrence Romeo blend well. It was not perfect, but they can play together.
Adding another ball-handler in Bolick may not be the wisest decision. Although Bolick may have the size to play with them.
Perez recorded 17 points, 6 rebounds and 2 steals in his debut with San Miguel. He played more to score than he usually did in Terrafirma.
On the other hand, Terrence Romeo went for 18 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists. He did not connect on a single three-point shot but managed nine two-pointers.
The injury though of Terrence could be a good reason why adding another ball-dominant player is not a bad thing.
But Robert has some bad history in terms of injury. Is he the right guard for them?
