There are three primary ways for PBA teams to add new players to their squads. The first one is the draft. It is an exciting path as young players always provide hope to the fanbase that they will be something worth it.
Trades are basically the most popular ones. Although, it is also the most hated because this path is exploited by the rich teams.

I think, Banal may have a shot at getting the spot of Jeron Teng in the rotation of Alaska. Banal has a very drama-like career arch and for him to finish it as a legit starting-caliber player in the PBA will be historical.
#1 Yousef Taha
Taha was always treated as a role player. He is not playing like one this year. He is producing 11.4 points, 9.6 rebounds and 46% FG per game. He is playing like a capable starter who can defend the elite giants of the league.
