The attention of the entire PBA universe is now focused on Barangay Ginebra San Miguel as they are now at risk of missing the playoffs.
They need to enter the top 8 to be eligible for the playoffs. they only have three games left and those will be against Meralco, Phoenix and Alaska.
Now, during their game last Sunday against TNT, a Twitter trend pertaining to Scottie Thompson as a user erupted.
It basically indicates that people are still angry with Scottie. And it will not be shocking if the majority of them are Ginebra fans.
In a way, they are sending a message to the management that they would rather see Thompson in another team.
The question is, should Ginebra trade him?
The answer to this question is very easy. He is currently averaging 11.6 points, 8.0 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 1.6 steals, 1.5 blocks and 47% FG and 41% 3FG per game.
Other than rebounding and assists, all his numbers are currently career-high. That means he is having a career year.
So, basketball-wise, it is not logical for Ginebra to trade him.
