PBA Trade Rumors: TNT is not getting Chris Newsome

One of his newest rumors is the inclusion of Chris Newsome as one of the potential surprising players to be traded this year.

One of his posts though, suggests that TNT and Meralco was discussing a potential Chris Newsome trade but coach Norman Black is against it.

It is understandable that coach Norman is against it because Newsome is his best player. Newsome delivered the game-winning shot against the Magnolia Hotshots.

Chris is currently producing 12.9 points, 4.1 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 1.6 steals, 0.3 block, 44% FG and 48% 3FG per game.

Chris is playing as a legit point guard who is very unique because of his height, size and athleticism. If Meralco really see him as their franchise guy, it will be hard for TNT to get him.
