When asked about the decision of the management of San Miguel Beermen to trade Arwind Santos, coach Leo Austria said that he cried.
He also said, it’s also hard for him. It came out with a heavy heart, but all good things have an ending.
Yes. All good things have an ending. But, why did San Miguel choose to end the good things of Arwind Santos?
During the latest episode of Point of View of Spin.ph, they managed to sew the hints that they have to conclude that Santos was not really traded due to basketball purposes.
Because if San Miguel wants to improve their team, trading Arwind is not the right choice. Look back at their close semifinals against TNT Tropang Giga.
San Miguel Beermen has the better overall team. They have the two biggest players in the series. If you combine those two, San Miguel is clearly on the upper hand.
But, coach Chot Reyes did what he needed to do. Even with a few years of not being in the playoffs of the PBA, he still managed to do it better than coach Leo Austria.
And now, San Miguel decided to trade Arwind instead of replacing coach Leo.
Good for coach Leo. But, it could be one of the biggest mistakes that San Miguel made this century.
All goo things have an ending. And San Miguel winning a championship this year may not happen.
