Other than trades, the Free Agency market of the PBA is actually ripe for some good signings. So, who is currently in the top 10 available? Let us see.
#10 Mark Caguioa
Remember, Mark is still a free agent. So, any team who dreams of signing a player that was once the face of the PBA, is possible.
#9 David Murrell
I am not that sure about his status but he is not on the line-up of NLEX. He was highly touted by coach Yeng and I trust coach Yeng in terms of assessing players.
#8 Mark Olayon
6'3 to 6'4 players who can handle the ball and make plays for others are hard to find. So, Mark is in a way, a unique type of player.
#7 Yutien Andrada
Andrada will play in the 3X3 by the PBA but I think he is available to any team who needs a 6'7 that can protect the rim.
#6 Kris Rosales
Rosales should have an easier road back to the PBA now that they are increasing the maximum Fil-Ams allowed per team.
#5 Rabeh Al-hussaini
Speaking of 6'7, did we see already the final game of Rabeh in the PBA? I hope not because he is still a serviceable giant.
#4 Sol Mercado
Same with Kris, Sol should have more opportunities now to return to the PBA. Sol should still be an above-average defender who can score.
#3 Maurice Shaw
I think Maurice is still available in free agency. Although, he is very green right now. It is still hard to find a 6'8 with his physique in the league.
#2 Alex Mallari
I just hope that Alex can return to the PBA. He is an excellent talent. He is a 6'4 who can run the point guard for any team.
#1 Gab Banal
The price of the free-agency market. His one-conference deal with Alaska just ended and he decided not to accept their offer. So, any team can now have him, for the right price.
Shaw is not an asset...
